FAQs
Can you do a logo without the other stuff?
Honestly, no.
A logo is quite literally made up of all that “other stuff” – customer research, colour palettes, fonts, etc. It’s the very last piece of the branding puzzle, not the first; so it’s not possible to skip all of those steps and design a logo on its own.
What can I expect when I work with you?
Expect clear, honest communication and a collaborative approach. I value your input as it’s necessary in making sure we’re on the right track!
I do my absolute best to meet the deadlines we set. In order to achieve this, I require prompt feedback and responses to questions – ideally within a 3-day timeframe. I’ll always get back to you within 2 days.
How many concepts are included in a branding project?
Alchemy Creative is a one-concept studio, meaning I develop a single, focused brand concept rather than several half-finished ideas. I’ve found this results in a higher quality result.
Which platforms do you build websites on?
Wordpress websites are my specialty. I use Bricks or Divi builder for these. If you already have a subscription to Elementor Pro, I’m more than happy to work in that.
I also offer Squarespace and Showit websites.
Can you write copy for my website?
I’m not a copywriter but can suggest to you several!
For every web design project, I do provide a copy guide to help you write your own copy in easy, bite-sized pieces so it’s not so daunting.
If you think you’ll struggle to get your copy in on time, don’t worry – I can build your website with placeholder text so that you can edit your copy in at a later date when you’re ready. (Yes, I’ll show you how to edit your site!)
