Hey! I'm Laura, owner of Alchemy Creative.
Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, I’ve always loved creative work and am honoured that I’ve been able to spend the past 10 years helping and supporting local businesses in their growth. We’re a colourful, diverse city and it’s my privilege to celebrate and contribute to that every day.
The entire purpose of Alchemy Creative is to help local brands shine by taking what the things that seem ordinary to them about their business and transforming them into something big, beautiful and extraordinary for their audience.

Which areas of/around Brisbane do you serve?
I’m a Brisbane web designer, so I primarily work with small businesses around Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. But I also working with clients around Australia and internationally. We don’t need to be in the same time zone.
Do you build e-commerce websites?
I do offer e-commerce as an add-on, typically starting from $1,500 AUD for basic functionality and up to 20 simple (non-variation) products. If you have more or need variations, let me know and I can quote for this.
I’m also looking to add Shopify to my services for a discounted rate, so reach out if you’d like to chat more about that!
Which platforms do you build websites on?
I specialise in Wordpress, purely because it offers unlimited flexibility that no other platform at the moment can compare with. It’s also free. 😉
I do also build on Squarespace and Showit for service-based websites.
I’m actively looking to add Shopify to my services and am happy to build on there at a discounted rate, so if you’re wanting an e-commerce website, feel free to enquire about it!
Can you write copy for my website?
I’m not a copywriter but can recommend you some.
If you’re writing your own content, I provide a copy prompts document in a Q&A format. This allows you to break your copy writing up into very simple, easy, bite-sized pieces.
There’s also an option to build the site with placeholder text which you can edit at a later date if you wish. This can take the pressure off to provide copy upfront.
Which Brisbane industries do you offer web design for?
I work in all industries but the ones I gravitate to most are businesses in the Brisbane creative and wellness spaces. Coaches, yoga teachers, psychologists naturopaths, photographers, copy-writers, marketers are all in my zone of genius.

Yes! We can also customise projects and packages to your needs. Just let me know upfront so I can quote them separately and allow extra time for completion.
